Support for Jackson Heights...

The Dougherty County School System has adopted the I Care program to encourage parental support for the students attending Dougherty County Schools. As a Partner in Excellence with Jackson Heights Elementary School, Dr. Reve' M. Pete supports the school's I Care program implementation.

What is iCare?

I Care is a parental involvment and character devopment program established by Elbert Solomon. The program combines efforts from parents, schools and members of the local community to "empower parents to help their children achieve more at home, in school and in life". To achieve this, the program uses a "curricular/workbook approach to parental involvement and character development".
