Gethsemane Church of God in Christ of Lafayette, Louisiana, under the leadership of Bishop Roy L. H. Winbush, Pastor, Prelate of Louisiana 1st Jurisdiction and General Board member of the Church of God in Christ, is providing assistance to many of the COGIC members who are victims of Hurricane Katrina. The church is feeding, clothing, purchasing prescriptions and medical supplies as well as finding homes for the hurricane victims. Financial contributions are needed to support this relief effort.
